Postcards From Belgium
As we approach Remembrance Day 2012 its interesting to look back on postcards from November 1918. My grandfather, Horace Nevard sent these to Alice Hall back in Suffolk. The war was over and he was headed home.
Such a long time ago and yet, still remembered and shared. Nice to see.. What a time in history that was, and it is now almost 100 yrs ago. The older I get, the more I appreciate.
I'm glad to have old things like that. The problem that I face is, who will I pass them on to?
